]]> Shaq’s owner moved and left him and 3 other dogs behind. When we learned of the sad situation we swooped in and brought all 4 dogs into rescue. They are receiving vet care and will be available for adoption.

She was retired from her breeding duties and is seeking a home where she can spend her days playing, eating and be spoiled. Zoe is a very confident girl with a take charge demeanor. She came into rescue with her crate mate Rosy, and it is obvious that she was her protector. Zoe loves any and all attention, even just a moment of eye contact sets her nub into wag mode. Would be great as an only pet or with a male dog and kids over 5 as she is large and exuberant with her movement.

]]> Rosy has finally been retired from a breeding program where she spent her entire life. We love her unique markings and coloring, and her personality is gentle and loving, sprinkled with lots of curiosity as she comes out of her shell. Her exposure to the world has been limited, as she was confined to a mud floored kennel with buckets that were used for food and water. Her living conditions were less than desirable. She is accustomed to being around another dog and looks to her crate mate Zoe for confidence, and for that reason we would prefer a home with another dog. Rosy is estimated to be 4/5 years of age.

Dogs: Male companion would be great

Cats: No

]]> Marley is a 4 1/2-year-old pug. Marley is spayed and UTD on all of her vaccinations. She is on the smaller side weighing around 19 lbs. 

Marley came from a small apartment where she was crated 12 to 14 hours a day and never walked. She is so happy being fostered with 3 foster pugs and a fenced in backyard where she can explore and run. She is still getting the hang of walking on a leash. She is house trained. 

Marley has allergies and will need to be on a good quality dog food and some supplements to keep those allergies at bay. She also has a hooded vulva which causes excess bacteria and makes her prone to UTIs. She will need to have a medicated wipe applied to her once a day. The wipes are inexpensive and it is very easy to do. 

Her ideal home would be someone that works from home, is retired or is home most of the time. She can be left for several hours at a time, but she would just do better with someone that’s home. She could live with another pug or a dog that is submissive. Does not have any history with cats or children. She would love a fenced in yard, she loves to be outside and explore and chase the lizards. Marley is a Velcro pug, she will follow you everywhere you go.  Pug knowledge is preferred

]]> We got a call about these two beautiful , brown , brindle , boxer pug mix sisters!

Poxers? Bugs? Neither of those sound nice enough so we will call them by their names.

Royal & Regal. They are 2 years old. Though their names sound fancy , their living condition is not. They were only being fed every other day due to owner’s lack of funds. They were trying their hardest to stretch the food but became overwhelmed. Luckily, they did the right thing and contacted us. We already sent food support so the girls have full bellies. They are timid with new people but live with 6 other dogs. They would like to be adopted together if that option presents itself.


Royal is sweet. More open to people and new things than Regal. She loves her toys. She loves to steal toys and hide them in her kennel for later. She’s also a cuddler and a kisser. She is much quieter than Regal, but if Regal gets too worked up about something, she’ll join in. She’s got a funny little trot when she’s happy. She’s the type to lay around with you and is crate trained. She can fit in almost anywhere!

Regal is the more timid of the sisters. She fancies herself a guard dog, alert & ready to defend her castle against the delivery people, garbage trucks, etc. Once she gets to know you it’s non stop cuddles and sloppy kisses.
