]]> PUPDATE: Neve has been in foster for a few weeks. She is calm, quiet and obedient in the home. She doesn’t ask for much. She loves her dog bed, soft toys and daily walks. She is obsessed with walks! Neve would love to be your new bestie. We believe she is a Shar-Pei

Neve was found after being attacked by stray dogs. She never fought back, it just isn’t in her sweet nature. She had several procedures to repair the injuries she sustained from the attack. Her wounds are healing and she is on the mend. She remains super lovable in spite of everything she has been through, and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity and well wishes. We truly appreciate your support and the love you have for our CHBR dogs.

]]> PUPDATE: Tempest has filled in and was able to be spayed and have her cherry eye repaired.  She’s feeling much better.  Now that she’s comfortable she seems to enjoy other calm dogs and showing the crazy puppies in her foster who’s the boss #BossBabe

Tempest was found recently as a stray in “ruff” shape.  She was never claimed and that’s the best thing for her.  Tempest is very underweight, covered in fleas, her eyes are painful with “cherry eye” and discharge.  We are feeding her puppy food to get a few pounds on her so she can undergo anesthesia to be spayed and have her painful eyes fixed. So far in foster she’s fearful of other dogs and would likely enjoy a quiet home as an only dog. It’s obvious she has been through already in her life.

]]> Introducing Louie, and the most beautiful baby blue eyes we ever did see! This young boy was found with a tether around his neck in a known dumping area in Texas. Louie is estimated to be around 2 years old and appears to have been used solely as a breeding stud. He’s a bit frightened and cautious, as he’s been shuffled around to help him settle. Louie gets overwhelmed easily and is sensitive to touch, but he managed to tolerate a soothing bath quite nicely. He’s not yet a fan of treats or cuddles yet, but we know with the right foster or forever home, Louie will learn to trust and love. We’re looking for a patient and gentle soul who can offer him a quiet and stable environment. Consider fostering or adopting and help him find his comfort zone at his own pace.
