Shanghai CS2 Major Schedule: It all starts now!
The tournament kicked off with the Opening Stage on November 30, featuring 16 teams in a Swiss System format. Each team must secure three wins to progress to the Legends Stage, while three losses will mean elimination. Matches alternated between best-of-one and best-of-three, with high-stakes ties determined in BO3 showdowns. The teams that made it out of this stage into the Elimination stage were – The MongolZ, Liquid, GamerLegion, paiN, FURIA, Wildcard, MIBR, and BIG.
The Elimination Stage begins on December 5, where eight teams from the Opening Stage will join the top eight squads that earned direct entries from the RMRs. From there, the competition will culminate in the Playoffs, starting December 12, with a single-elimination bracket to crown the winner on December 15, 2024.
